Remember?

Memorabilia

As tourists, we'll never fail to bring something home, whatever it may be - a mug, a t-shirt, a fridge magnet or even a glitter globe. That, and the hundreds of snapshots that completely tire the shutter of our camera. And our justification? So that we'll have something to remember by.

Mementoes

In life, we never fall short of things to remember something - an incident, an occasion or even a person. Many a times, there will be things, physical objects, coupled with the sentiment at that point in time - happy times or sad times - and they are never neutral or devoid of the emotional attachment they came with.

Memories

In psychology, memory is an organism's ability to store, retain, and subsequently recall information, past sensations, thoughts and knowledge. The human brain is a mysterious hardware that humans never really managed to figure out. But whatever it may be, without a doubt, we fight hard to retain the seemingly important or happy past. And acknowledging that life just isn't a bed of roses, we also try to block out certain memories we'd rather not recall.

But the question is, can we really choose what we want to remember and forget in our lives?

u know, sometimes when ppl say that time makes a/the difference.

But wat happens if time actually prolongs the memories of whatever thing that one wanted to forget...
