Although it has not exactly been tiger-rific, this Chinese New Year hasn't been as dreadful as I thought it was going to be. While I'm not embracing this festivity just yet, I must admit it was tolerable. Perhaps the different start to the routine made good an otherwise disrelished start to a new lunar year. Perhaps, it was the tranquil of the neighbourhood in absence of the deafening rhythm of the drums and cymbals. Or perhaps, it was because I'd finally triumphed over the age-old belief that I can't wash my hair on the morning of the first lunar day.
But be it the start of the Gregorian calendar year, or the Lunar calendar year, I know my life is a life above the sun because of God's goodness. (^_^)
