Caller ID - inconspicuous, yet indispensable. Why do I say that? I wanted to retain my mobile phone number, so I kept my subscription to a minimal and this means cancelling all value-added services. Hence, no caller-id for me. And ever since I came back 3 weeks ago, I've been losing sleep because of all the calls I failed to pick up. Each time I see a missed call notification on my phone, I'll spend the whole day wondering who called and what the call was about. I remember greeting my friends when I answer my calls like,"Good morning Jen, what's up? or even "Hi dear, you called?" when I'd a missed call. Today, I answer calls and hear this,"(yadda yadda yadda)...by the way, this is xyz, if you still don't know..."
