(cute page stopper in the form of Lix's soft toy) As if in a desperate attempt to outsmart each other, TBF gave me a challenge on Sunday night: to find the synonymous word starting with the letter p for the word thrifty. And the p words I'd painstakingly found from my dictionary - parsimonious and penurious - were carelessly rejected for he felt that they didn't spell like how he'd remembered. And the only p word left in my Collins, literally, would be penny-pinching, but my hunch tells me he's going to brush it off again.
Anyway, I suspect he doesn't have a clue either. *LOL*
