Love it...Hate it?

The funniest thing, I've figured this morning, is the paradox of the weather. No, not the weather's paradox of the weather, Jo's paradox. So as the rain clouds migrated down south and to the west, it has been sunny since yesterday. Of course it was a really good thing, except to the water department I guess.

So it's warmer these couple of days, well comparatively to the last weekend, but standing in the glaring sun at the lights just now did raise my UV awareness a little. In fact, the thought in my mind was, "Will I get sunspots from all this sun?", which obviously is a paradox in it's own way for the sun is recognisably an extremely important inanimate object in my life right now. So the thing is this: Between a frozen arse and little brown freckles, the only way to strike a balance would be sunscreen and perhaps a sunhat, that or in more Singaporean ah-soh context, a brolly (and a UV-coated one for that matter)!
