While psychologists fume over the classification of Type A and Type B personalities, I was left wondering about personalities on a more micro level. If meticulously systematic individuals make good engineers, indecisive women bad drivers and beer-drinking men wife bashers, then what makes me me?
Despite my longstanding issues with the education system, I figured I simply love being in the classroom. And as much as I would like to deny it, I covertly enjoy being looked up upon as a pillar of knowledge and wisdom, an idiot's guide to 'fill-in-the-blanks'. And now, with a heightened awareness of personalities and stereotypes, I secretly suspect I am the closet narcissist who loves all the attention she gets from the students who worship her.
