I can't believe it either but I think I'd just spent more than an hour at the kitchen applicance section in Kmart trying to decide which rice cooker to buy. And it's preposterous considering the choices I have - there's only 3 to choose from!
Of course, I suspect I was beginning to look dubious and dumb (hmmm...which is worse?) not knowing which one to choose and eventually, I decided on the one with a steaming tray (the stove is only available in communal kitchen 2 very long corridors away) so that the lazy girl can still have her meal and eat it, but not without a little accident...*LOL*
But it still tasted pretty good, chao-dah rice and all...
